Here's Molly just home from the Boulder Valley Humane Society. Mercy isn't so sure yet about why she has to put up with this little runt. Her intake documents list her as a Pointer/Lab mix, and she was brought in from a shelter in Kansas with 3 other Pointer/? mix puppies. I can only imagine what that was all about, she and her fellow escapees must have had quite an adventure.
We've achieved an understanding of sorts several days later. Clearly Mercy is not happy to have to share her bed with Molly, but at least she's getting a clue that this puppy is here to stay. We don't feel too sorry for Mercy, as when she came into our household at 8 weeks she was an equally pesky pup to our older yellow lab Leah. Not so much fun when your past behavior literally starts biting you in the butt.
